People often call eyes the windows to the soul. But what exactly do we see when we gaze into the eyes of another?

A mess of gorgeous chaos

image

Eyes are the windows to the soul
Throughout my life I’ve been told
To see into anothers heart
Eyes are the place to start

image

Through these windows the truth lies
Emotionally nothing hides
Clear for all too recognize
Displayed to the world in ones eyes

image

Evident are anger, lust and surprise
Fear, truth, lust, hope and despise
Happiness, sorrow, and confusion
Inside familiar eyes there is no illusion

To gaze deeply is an intense moment
For the eyes are a intimate component
Although prominent noticed by all
Often the feature hardest to recall

Went to my first comicon with some friends this weekend, and never expected the pride and passion that goes into these costumes.
Some of these guys have celebrity status and everywhere you go they all know each other and take pride in the detail in each others costumes.

Here are some pics I took that day

Cosplay is a type of performance art in which fans wear costumes with accessories that represent a specific character or idea. Drawn together by similar interests, Cosplayers often interact to create a subculture centered on role playing.

Most people uneducated in the world was of the opinion cosplay first gained popularity through loyalists of the original Star Trek series (to which comic con and other similar events owe their existence) but favorite sources include broader Sci Fi and TV, comic books, anime and manga, and video games (some are actually creative enough to opt for their own character or idea creations) inanimate objects are given anthropomorphic forms and it is not unusual to see gender switching (women are free to recreate male characters as their own female interpretation) and men secure enough in their sexuality often dress as female characters.

Empty soul

Looking at my hands stained with lies
I can’t talk with these blurred lines
Don’t know the answer
What to do what to feel
I’m crying and I cannot stop
I look towards the sky
Searching for an answer
I want to be free of this life this lie
I just want to be myself…by myself

Everyday I shed a tear for the life I need but will never have.

The first Unholy Club night took place on Friday 17 April at London venue the Purple Turtle. Headlining was The Heretic Order, who are an evil metal sounding beast influenced by Mercyful fate and Black Sabbath but bringing a modern twist to a scene where a band like this is much needed.

Lord Ragnar addressing his disciples

The Heretic Order led by frontman and lead guitarist lord Ragnar Wagner start by how they mean to go on by melting the fans faces with pure evil speed metal and the crowd love it. In a metal scene where they is too much corporate bullshit and most bands ignore theatrics and good old quality heavy metal rock n roll The Heretic Order embrace it and do it well. It does help that the band are good at what they do. Bassist Rotted Skull is a silent cool as hell player that lets his skills do the talking and the band completed by Ernie Nogara  on drums and Marcel on guitar look like they have been playing together for years and not just a year.

Bassist Rotted Skull. Silent Bass assasin
This is just the beginning, with an album finished and coming out towards the latter part of the year followed by a European tour, everyone will soon all be chanting…. HAIL THE ORDER.

The Heretic Order Live – UK’S most evil band:

  “There was a reason
she was so romantic about the moon.
It never asked her questions or begged for the answers,
nor did she have to prove herself to it.
It was always just there,
breathing, shining,

and in ways most humans can’t understand:

listening. “
